Katrina: The best Indian Celebrity match for Prince Williams

MUMBAI - - Indian matrimonial website ‘shadi.com’ arranged an online survey in which participants have to choose the best Indian celebrity match for Prince Williams from the available options of Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Sonaksi Sinha.

In this online survey 75.3 percent participants voted for British born Katrina Kaif as the best Indian celebrity match for Prince Williams. Total of 8,000 visitors participated in the online poll and voted for their respective choice. 

Katrina Kaif was voted by more than 6,000 online voters as the best Indian Celebrity match for Prince Williams; while the other two, Priyanka Chopra and Soakshi Sinha, collectively got only 24.7 percent of total votes. "Desi girl" Priyanka Chopra got 16.7 percent votes, while ‘Dabangg’ fame Sonakshi Sinha got only eight percent of the total people participated in the survey.

The survey result was declared on Thursday, the eve of Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton at London's Westminster Abbey.

The latest buzz is that Bollywood macho man Salman Khan is extremely annoyed with Ranbir Kapoor.

Katrina Kaif Denied Rumours of Marriage and Break-up With Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood dolly Katrina Kaif, who is currently in the news for her alleged 'marriage' and break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, says it is just a rumour. 

"These kinds of talks are just rumours. They are a part and parcel of the industry. One just has to smile and concentrate on work," said Katrina. 

When asked if she was ever dating Ranbir, Katrina said, "I have never commented on my personal life. And will not do so now." 

Ranbir and Katrina have worked together in Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani' and 'Raajneeti'.

The immensely popular Katrina Kaif-Barbie Doll is all set to hit the window displays this month. 

A source said, "Katrina is so excited that the doll crafted in her likeness is soon going to be available in stores all over the country. In fact Kats, as she is lovingly, cannot forget the days when she used to play with Barbie herself. She has grown up watching the doll being a fashion statement. Now the Katrina-Barbie doll hitting the stands is a moment she is proud of. It has also been a very humbling experience for her."

Katrina Kaif is the first Bollywood icon to be crafted in the form of a Barbie Doll. The actress had walked the ramp dressed as Barbie during the 50th Birthday Celebrations of the iconic doll in 2009.

Katrina Kaif (born 16 July 1984) is an actress and former model who appears in Indian films, mainly in the Hindi-language film industry. She has also appeared in Telugu, and Malayalam films.

Kaif was born in Hong Kong to an Indian Kashmiri father, Mohammed Kaif, and an English mother, Suzanne Turquotte, both of whom are British citizens. Her parents divorced when she was very young. Kaif has seven siblings. She was raised in Hawaii and later moved to her mother's home country, England.

Kaif began her modeling career at the age fourteen; her first job was for a jewelry campaign. She continued modeling in London under a contract with the Models 1 Agency and did campaigns for houses such as La Senza and Arcadius, and even walked on the London Fashion Week.

Kaif's London modeling-work led to her discovery by London-based filmmaker Kaizad Gustad, who gave her a part in his film Boom (2003). She moved to Mumbai and was offered a number of modeling assignments. However, filmmakers were initially hesitant to sign her because she could not speak Hindi.

Kaif saw moderate success with the 2005 film Sarkar, where she played the bit part of Abhishek Bachchan's girlfriend, and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2005), where she was paired opposite Salman Khan.

In 2007, Kaif appeared in her first major hit movie, Namastey London, wherein she starred as a British Indian girl alongside Akshay Kumar for the second time after the box office letdown Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006). Her run of hit films continued with Apne, Partner, and Welcome.
